About OSR

Slot Car Racing Club Melbourne

Located in Melbourne, Oz Scale Racers Slot Car Racing Club was formed in August 2010 and consists of like minded people interested in having fun and enjoying close and friendly slot car racing on routed wooden tracks.

Not only do our race nights provide great competition for all, they are also held in a social atmosphere with either Pizza or a BBQ provided at each event.

All skill levels are welcome to participate.

Race event

Information

Consisting of both 1:32 and 1:24 scale slot cars, race events are held fortnightly on Saturday nights. Events start around 6.30pm - ( Track owners discretion ), and depending on the number of attendees, usually run until 10.30pm - 11pm.

We use Race Coordinator timing software and our events include: Timed Racing, Fuel Races as well as individual and team Enduro racing.

We also arrange fix it nights from time to time to help nw comers to the group or to members that still need a little extra help preaparing their cars.

Brands include: Pioneer, Slotit, NSR, Revo Slot, Fly, Ninco, Scalextric, Scaleauto and BRM / TTS.

While race nights do not require much setup, non track owners are welcome to select the classes and run the night.
